| WHY AM I HERE? For starters I've been a fan of Angel since day one. Made sure to be home and not miss a moment of my favorite show. Truly appointment television. Even my boyfriend at the time knew not to even think of making plans on Wednesdays nights because it wasn't going to happen. Was that way about Buffy too. When Buffy ended the fans, writers and everyone involved was given ample notice and the show was given time to prepare for an adequate ending. ANGEL WAS ROBBED Angel was cancelled after the airing of the 100th episode. That was just wrong and the WB was not about to give a half-way decent reason for the cancellation of the show. Dark Shadows remake? Horrible and cruel reality shows? PUHLEEZE. Someone at the WB needs to give Angel's fan base more credit. We are many and are from various backgrounds. This show was not just for kids or teens. But also adults from all walks of life. Even grandmothers fought to save Angel. The efforts to save Angel were one of if not the biggest efforts by fans of a show to keep it on the air. If you were to type 'save angel' in any search engine and you will find thousands of links from thousands of fans who want to save our favorite show. From postcards to blood and food drives to an ad on a truck driving around Los Angeles to save Angel. All to no avail. Our precious show was cancelled. But we have only begun to fight. There's so many possibilities. Returning our beloved show, a spin-off and/or a movie. We, as fans deserve this. The cast and most off all Joss deserves to tell the story the way it was meant to be told THAT'S WHY I FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT. |
